Session Structure + Pricing
Session Structure is Client-Driven
In order to create self-led, sustainable changes in your life, the sessions themselves must reflect the core beliefs in exploration and client-driven experiences crafted to meet your needs, personality, and preferences. Using whatever blend you want of the ingredients of nature, creativity, and movement, we will design unique sessions together with your input at every stage. This is likely a novel approach for most but will become easier as we work together, and I will offer ideas and options as you become more comfortable with the approach.
For our sessions, you will choose the:
Timing: How often do you want to meet? Weekly, monthly? Every other day because you have a pressing decision coming up?
Duration: How long do you want the session to be? This can change from session to session to fit your current needs and schedule. Typically sessions will be between 1-3 hours, but we will make it whatever works best for you.
Location: Do you want to be outdoors, indoors, or virtual? See the “Options for Session Activities” further below on this page for examples.
Focus: Do you want the session to be focused on dialogue, creativity, movement, nature, or a mix? See the “Options for Session Activities” further below on this page for examples.
Each of the above aspects can change from session to session or remain as fixed as you want. I have found that starting with a simple first session as we get to know one another helps acclimate clients to the process, and from there we can add intentional challenges and vary our approach based on what’s working or what’s not and then add more tools and resources. Over time clients become more comfortable asking for and creating the sessions they need, leading to self-led and sustainable changes in life. Regardless of your choice, you will always receive a free consultation and an email from me within 48 hours following each session. Prepaid packages offer additional communication options for those interested, and you will find that what happens in between sessions is often as impactful as what happens during.
Session Pricing and Packages
Pricing for each type of session - pay-as-you-go, prepaid packages, or special offerings - can be found below. Prepaid packages include reduced cost per session and additional benefits, and the special offerings are for more specific focuses, such as creative writing or ultra running, and also include group options for activities such as camping retreats. I work with ages 18+ as individuals, pairs, or groups.
For each type, I include sliding scale options based on what you can afford. This is a time of social and economic uncertainty, so I don’t want cost interfering with you getting the help you want.
You can pay by credit card, cash, check, or Zelle. I do not take insurance at this time. But I am open to alternative currency such as barter or trade.

Options for Session Activities
Location: The location can be whatever you want and can change for each session, whether outdoors, indoors, or virtual. Indoor options include your favorite coffee shop, your office, or your house. Outdoor options include conversations seated in Wheeler Park, walk-and-talks at Buffalo Park or near your office during a break or lunch, summiting Mt. Humphrey or Elden, a personal favorite trail, exploring the red rocks of Sedona, or walking through Aspen Corner. Or get creative! If you want to go fishing, visit a museum, day or overnight camp, or check out the Grand Canyon, we will absolutely make that work.
Focus: The focus of the session can be more on dialogue and discussion, movement, nature, or creativity - or a mix of any of those elements, especially for longer sessions. Dialogue can simply be seated conversation but can also include thoughtful prompts, questions, values clarification, personality assessment, and walk-and-talks. Movement can be anything from active, full body action such as walking, hiking, or running but can also include stillness and embodied work, such as breath work, meditation, silent observation of the body or surrounding, grounding, visualizations, or use of sound therapy instruments. Nature activities include forest baths, walks or hikes through nature, sit & spot exercises, and journaling. Creative exercises include creative writing, self-exploration prompts, mandala creation, art creation or discussion, poems, music, or fun playful activities.
These are only suggestions - feel free to get as creative as you want!
